Deborah stuffing her pillows

     ShapeShiftas™ is the brainchild of Deborah McHenry Goodwin, a former apparel designer and still-wishful artist, who fled the big city in search of the peaceful life and some studio space.  "I just wanted to make stuff--- oh, and end the wars," she confesses.  And so she's making...pillows.

     "I created the first Armaments© as an anti-war sculpture," she recalls. "But then I realized that my Garment Center time had taught me the techniques to make lots of these different pillows.  Maybe create a few jobs, use sustainable materials, pay taxes, and donate some of the profit to charity, too."

     "Who says pillows have to be square?  I believe that fun should follow function." she states. And as for her dream of peace, she adds, "Let's make pillows, not war."

     All our products are made in the USA and stuffed with love in our Vermont headquarters. We use carefully selected fabrics and hypo-allergenic polyester fiberfill, so that each pillow and cushion is sturdy and easy to care for. Each piece is artisan-sewn and then hand-filled, individually shaping its unique personality.
